Can you believe another month had come and gone already? October 2019 is now in the books and what a month it has been for us down here in Turks and Caicos. We’ve seen steady participation numbers for our Saturday sessions and the skill levels of participants is increasing with each passing week, I’d say they are getting ready for our December rugby tournament.
In terms of the PE Sessions, Students in our sessions are starting to warm up to us and are getting more involved in the activities, they are excited when they see us walk in and ask us about the session. This marks a turning point for us, children are starting to develop a passion for the sport. Also this month we’ve started more after school programs for schools and the students in those sessions are passionate and skilled rugby players and I am excited to see how they develop in the coming weeks.
The heat of summer has finally broken down here on Providenciales, the ocean around the island is feeling cooler and the threats of hurricanes has diminished significantly, this also makes our sessions a lot more enjoyable for both use and the children.
As we look forward to November, I am excited to see how much further we can develop these children and see what they can accomplish. Also in November, we will be starting planning for our December rugby tournament.
